Software for data analysis

The Countryside Information system

Go to CIS web site

CIS v 6.0 is a powerful application that enables the user to view and analyse sample and census data at a resolution of 1km square, for Great Britain and Northern Ireland. A number of CS2000 datasets have been converted to CIS compatible files. These can be obtained from the CIS web site, where you can also find further details of CIS, including purchase costs.

The purchase price of CIS has recently been substantially reduced. For example, a single-user license is now available for £50.

An online manual is now available from the CIS web site.
